Two high school friends turn their passion for smoked meats into a booming local business.

One90 Smoked Meats offers a variety of small-batch craft smoked meats at its storefront on Northwest Highway and Easton.

Smoking meat together began as a backyard passion project between high school friends Kyle St. Clair and Herman Guerra. Later it became a life-changing opportunity that lead each to walk away from their law and law enforcement careers, to focus solely on their passion turned business.

Since then, One90 has become a neighborhood favorite, known for its two-handed sandwiches on locally baked bread, meat plates and sides.

The team at One90 is smoking everything from brisket to duck and ribs to bison and everything in between. (I personally love the sausage!)

Enjoy a delicious sandwich or plate on-site, if you can grab a seat (one of five), or take away a meal or vacuum-sealed packaged meat and sides to eat at home.

If you are still looking for a way to keep from slaving over a hot stove during the holidays, consider ordering meal from One90 Smoked Meats.

One90 has put together a special menu of to-go staples to make the upcoming season a little extra special.

· Half Brisket (4 lbs average weight; serves 16) / $70
· Beef Tenderloin (3 lbs average weight; serves 12) / $90
· Prime Rib (5 lbs average weight; serves 20) / $165
· Jumbo Turkey Leg / $10 each

All items are carved and packaged for convenience. The deadline for Thanksgiving orders has passed, but Christmas orders are being taken until December 19.

One90 Smoked Meats is located at 10240 E. Northwest Highway as is open Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
